Course Description
As a dental professional, you know how compromised children’s breathing occurs and what can be done to alleviate its harmful effects. The structural contributions to respiratory problems are easy for you to see, and you can plan treatments to address those needs. However, what isn’t as clear for you is how to talk to patients and parents, your team, colleagues and the public about how important this subject is, why what you recommend is vital to the child’s health span and how to get patients’ families to act on your recommendations.
will help you gain vital communication skills to address all aspects of breathing issues you see in your clinic. Through the cases presented, you will enhance your clinical skills as well as understand how they were originally presented and the obstacles that were overcome for eventual success.
